It is no secret that Jack Dorsey (Twitter’s CEO and co-founder) is no longer its CEO. This comes after he confirmed the exit from the Organization he started via a tweet he tweeted earlier today. He further clarifies that this decision was his choice, and he wasn’t forced to step down.

He is succeeded by Parag Agrawal, who was previously the head of Twitter’s technical section, as of November 29, 2021. According to the Reuters news agency, the Board of Directors has been planning for such a shift since last year.

Jack Dorsey, the ex twitter CEO, says that he will stay on the Twitter board of directors until about May 2022 to guarantee a smooth transition, and then he will step down beyond that date to make room for Parag Agrawal. He thinks that when a civilization develops, it must adapt independently of its founders’ influence.
