Although the latter is not expected at Xiaomi 12 Launch, The High-end version is being discussed monthly.
The source claims that the smartphone would have a photo as its protective shell (Source: Weibo). The Lets Go Digital website has created 3D representations of what the product may look like based on this and some more information given by the interested parties.

From the 3D renderings, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have an entirely different concept than its predecessor. For this model, an extremely modern camera system with a total of four sensors might also be beneficial to the phone.
The primary camera, a Samsung ISOCELL GN5, would include a 50-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel super-wide-angle lens, and at least an optical zoom.
