Google now allows you to place products at the top of your local and Maps listings.
Google Business Profile, formerly Google My Business, now has a new feature in the products section that allows you to mark a product as “special.” When you mark a product as special, it will be moved to the top of the products listed in your Google business profile listing.
This is how it appears. Here is the “Mark as Special” setting in the Google Business Profile products section. “Special products are shown at the top of the page,” it says.
The reason it is convenience
Some local SEOs and businesses were looking for a way to promote products to the top of the page. This allows them to prioritize one or more products in their Google local search and Google Maps listings.
