The Public Service Commission (PSC) has released a list of graduates who have been chosen to work as interns in various government ministries.
According to the document released by the commission on Tuesday, January 4, a total of 3267 graduates were chosen for the 12-month program, which is set to begin in the financial year 2021/2022.
How to Check
- Those who applied can find out if they were chosen for the 12-month internship program by visiting the PSC website at www.publicservice.go.ke and scrolling down to the internship section.
- All of the candidates’ names have been published in the section, along with all of their relevant departments and county information.
The interns will be paid a stipend of between Ksh15,000 and Ksh25,000 as part of the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP).
The recruitment process for the fourth cohort began on August 3, 2021, with a list of shortlisted candidates released in November 2021.
The positions advertised were from various government departments, ministries, and agencies.
After completing their one-year program, interns have the opportunity to be absorbed into a variety of ministries and departments.
Successful candidates will carry out mutually agreed-upon duties, including those assigned by supervisors, and will document relevant skills gained. During that time, they are also expected to participate in a variety of mentorship programs.
PSIP is a government initiative that provides graduates with opportunities to gain technical and professional skills as well as work experience in the public sector.
