On March 7th, video of boda boda riders attacking a lady diplomat involved in a traffic altercation with a boda boda operator leaked online. One of the boda boda operators was apparently knocked out by the lady. Kenyans flocked to social media to share their horrific encounters with rogue boda boda riders. 16 bodaboda riders were detained and captured as a result of the public outcry, which included tweets from prominent government officials.
Dr. Fred Matiang’i, the Secretary of the Interior, tweeted about Forest Video.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has ordered a nationwide crackdown, requiring all boda boda riders to re-register.

KCPE 2022 results
On the trends, the KCPE 2022 results came in third. The results of the just-completed 2021 KCPE examinations were revealed by the Education Cabinet Secretary on Monday, February 28th. Magata Bruce Mackenzie of Gilgil Hills Academy took first place with 428 points. This is the 8-4-4 curriculum’s second-to-last cohort. Kenya’s school system is on the verge of implementing a Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Kenya’s school calendar, which has been badly disrupted by COVID-19, is projected to return to normal by 2023.
