Itel Kenya is set to unveil a popular Kenyan musician as its official brand ambassador in a few hours in a move considered as the coming together of two kings, the smartphone, consumer electronic and lifestyle products company, itel Kenya and the top Kenyan Rapper as its official brand ambassador.
iTel says the signing of the famous Rapper is informed by the brand’s desire to enhance consumer engagement and endear more fans to her community. As the face of the brand, the artist is expected to help consumers to connect with the phone company and reach more young users and have the phone reach most of them who are left behind due to lack of knowledge of premium but affordable smartphones.
itel Kenya aims to be a leader in the smartphone mass market in Kenya and Africa at large and will be using the artist to push phones below Ksh 10,000.The artist will help the consumers find stores to buy the phone across the country, download apps which they need to use and connect to more songs and other media for their own consumption.
