Samsung is facing Chip production problems, no more smartphones scheduled for release in 2022

*Not all Samsung models coming this year will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 Chipsets

Word of mouth on the web is that nothing is going on at Samsung factories back in South Korea because of a decline in Chip production. If this turns out to be accurate, then the number of  Samsung smartphones from the Manufacturer equipped with the latest processors on the Markert will drop significantly

The decline of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200  processors could seriously reduce Samsung Sales this year. According to our colleagues from the XDA platform, the drop in processor production will seriously have a significant effect on Samsung’s end if the goliath is not solved immediately.

Some high-end smartphones set to be delivered would never see the limelight. Not only will Samsung be affected but also Qualcomm, whose chipsets will be forced to fall at the mercies of TSMC for the production of a possible Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus.

The smartphone manufacturing market is also stiff as several brands, especially in China, do push-ups every day. This means that Samsung would be seriously left behind when it comes to large-scale production of chips engraved in 3 nm until maybe in 2023.

The 3 nm protocols permit more than 35% improvement in performance, unlike the 4 nm engraved chipsets. In addition, the energy efficiency can be 50% higher with equal performance in 3nm nodes.

Rember the sizes for chipsets are rapidly declining to produce better results as far as their performance is concerned. It is not all Samsung that is concentrating on this. TSMC is also having internal issues with its most recent  FinFET etching technologies. On TSMC’s end still, he should be able to launch the production of 2 nm chips in 2025, the same year as Samsung

Intel is also the plans to introduce its 2 nm chips in two years. By 2024, 1.8 nm etching for processors should be out for intel. If Samsung continues gambling with its production currently, they are at considerable risk.
