First Impressions of the Oppo Reno 7 4G

When it comes to the Reno line of smartphones, it is pretty clear that design and aesthetics are the valid values of this type of smartphone segment from Oppo. To stress out its objectives, The Oppo Reno 7 4G, like its smaller sibling, the Reno 6 5G, tries to follow in the same footsteps.

The model fresh out of the box has a striking design and several long-awaited quality-of-life features. Despite these improvements over past generations, residual concessions hold it back from fierce competition such as Xiaomi, Samsung, and Huawei.

Its inner mechanics comprise the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A 4,500mAh battery is also included, which can be charged with a 33W fast charger. There’s a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels.

It still adopts the same 64-megapixel primary sensor as the last generation model and a 2-megapixel micro sensor plus a 2-megapixel depth. The phone also has a 32-megapixel selfie sensor for selfies and video calls. Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity choices.
