Google Chrome is among the best web browsers with a tonne of features onboard. One such tool that makes life easier is the ability to share Google Chrome tabs between a phone and a PC. Here’s a little tutorial to bring you up to speed.

How to Share Chrome Tabs Between Android and PC

Sharing PC Tabs to Android

  • Navigate to the webpage you want to share on your PC using Google Chrome.
  • Next, move the mouse to the ‘Share this page’ symbol on the URL bar, which is positioned in the upper right corner next to the zoom and bookmark star buttons.
  • Tap ‘Share This Page,’ and a variety of options will appear.
  • Select ‘Send To Your Devices,’ and then choose the device with which you want to share the tab.
  • It’s worth noting that if you have many devices connected with your PC, each one will have its own moniker. Choose the phone with whom you want to share it.
  • Check your phone and open Google Chrome.
  • In the URL, look for “chrome:/flags” and look for “Enable receiving device to handle shared clipboard feature,” “Sync Clipboard Services,” and “Enable shared clipboard feature signals to be handled.”
  • You will receive notifications the next time you share a tab from your PC.

Transferring Android Tabs to a PC

  • On your phone, find the tab you wish to share, such as a webpage, then tap “More Options” (represented by three vertically stacked dots), then tap “Share.”
  • Then, select “Send to your devices.”
  • It will urge you to choose the device synced with your phone to share, so do so and you’re done.
  • You will receive an instant notification on your PC, which you may click to view the same webpage you were using on your Android phone.
  • If it doesn’t work, you’ll need to enable the flags on your PC’s Chrome
