The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro are now available in other countries; soon launch in Kenya expected

It is a well-kept secret that the Vivo brand marketability is doing very well, and soon the launch of the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro is expected in Kenya after making their way to Western markets. The two phones were first launched in China a month ago, and soon other regions of the Globe will be able to access these two new models.

Of the two new phones, it’s the X80 Pro that has everyone’s attention. The reason is simple: Vivo wants to push all the sliders to their limits in terms of the image due to its new Samsung photosensor (the 50 megapixel 1/1.3″ GNV opening at /1.6) its cooperation with Zeiss optical. The remainder of the picture set is equally appealing; we have:

  • An 8-megapixel periscopic lens sensor
  •  A 12-megapixel gimbal-stabilized telephoto lens
  • A 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with autofocus included

  • The Sony IMX866 sensor (50 megapixels),
  • A 12-megapixel telephoto lens
  • A 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle

 Both smartphones include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera

The X80 Pro differentiates itself from the X80 by using a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC (Density 9000 for the X80) and a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution against FHD + for the cheaper model. It will also have a 10-bit color depth, allowing even more vibrant photos. The Vivo X80 Pro is also the only one of the two with IP68 certification and can be recharged wirelessly, leaving nothing to chance (50W).

Since we’re on the subject of batteries, keep in mind that the X80 Pro has a 4,700 mAh battery that recharges at 80 W in wired mode, and the X80 has a 4,500 mAh battery. Both phones support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with the original X80 supporting Bluetooth 5.3

In ending of this piece, these two lovely smartphones have been made public by the manufacturer whose pricing is not yet known but based on prices showcased in India, about 674 euros for the standard version and 980 euros for the pro variant, and they could easily sell for a price lower than that once launched in Kenya.
