Google Maps is designed to keep you safe while on vacation.
To help with this, Google has released a function that allows you to check the air quality before leaving for your vacation destination. This new Google Maps feature, which was recently published in the United States for Android and iOS devices, might be useful to some of you. Its main objective is to help you learn about the air quality of a location so you can decide whether or not it’s safe to visit there for outdoor activities.
The air quality index (AQI) will be displayed on Google Maps, and you can get recommendations based on it (the option is available in the map’s details). For example, if the region is enveloped in odd weather, the application will alert you.
Other functions.
It will also have a function that allows you to view forest fires in your area in real-time, which have unfortunately become more common in recent years. During the development of these services, the Mountain View company claims to have collaborated extensively with partners who specialize in weather and air quality.
