The Oppo Find X5 smartphone with Hasselblad technology  to be launched in Kenya

Oppo Kenya introduced us to the Oppo Reno 7 series a little over a month ago, with two models available in Kenya (Oppo reno 7 4G and Oppo reno 7 5G). Another launch event is expected before the end of the week when we will learn more about the Oppo Find X5 smartphone.

The Find X was the country’s most recent Find X series, which took place in 2018. Yes, Oppo omitted a handful of Find X series, but that does not imply that we should not receive a  high-end in the country. The  Find X5 improves on all of its predecessor’s features and even pays for the luxury of delivering a camera in collaboration with Hasselblad.

Compared to its predecessor, the Oppo Find X2, the Find X5 has a far more comprehensive range. The AMOLED screen is 6.55 inches diagonally, with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The refresh rate is increased to 120 Hz for enhanced visual smoothness, compared to 90 Hz on the previous model.

It’s a shame it doesn’t have the newest Qualcomm CPU, but the phone already has a lot of power owing to the Snapdragon 888 5G and 8 GB of RAM. It’s just the setup that came standard on most high-end smartphones in 2021, and it still provides for smooth performance in all applications, including 3D games with high-resolution graphics.

It’s powered by Android 12 and has a ColorOS 12.1 UI. The battery is also larger than previously, with a capacity of 4,800 mAh, which should be more than enough to get you through the day without needing to plug in. However, we particularly love the quick charging of 80 W, which allows for an 80 percent charge in only 20 minutes. Wireless charging with a power output of up to 30 W is also featured.

The Find X5 contains a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. Hasselblad is now extending its expertise to Oppo phones. Consequently, the acquired images have an outstanding representation in wide-angle mode, x2 zoom, portrait mode, or even at night.

Everything isn’t perfect, and we may lament the lack of a zoom x3, x5, and x10, but it’s still a fantastic photophone for the money. A 32-megapixel front camera is available for selfies.
