Asus introduces its folding PC screen, the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED

The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is a very stunning folding screen computer. It is a large 17.3″ FOLED screen that can fold into two halves using a specially created hinge, producing two 12.5″ screens.

The screen has a 4:3 format when unfolded and a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. The screen is designed for games with a latency of just 0.2 milliseconds (60 hertz) and a cretan brightness of 500 nits. OLED complies with a remarkable contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

The panel covers the DCI-P3 colour space, a standard first created for film industry experts. Therefore the colour rendering is entirely accurate. In addition, it also offers 1.07 billion colours and is VESA, HDR True Black 500, and Pantone certified.

It has a glossy surface and a touch screen that you may use straight as a tablet if required. Furthermore, the panel blocks 70% of blue light damaging to the eyes, and the whole system is designed such that the screen-to-device ratio is 87%.

The computer has an Intel Core i7-1250U CPU, which can embed autonomy inside itself and quickly supply significant computational power. It has 10 cores, comprising eight low-power cores and two performance cores, for 10 threads.

To best meet the customer’s demands, the chip may modulate its frequency from 1.1 GHz to 4.70 GHz at peak. The system ships with 16 GB of LPPDR5 RAM (soldered to the motherboard) and 1 TB of lightning-fast internal storage, although the chip can handle up to 64 GB of RAM.

The new Intel Xe Iris GPU handles the graphics portion, which is suitable for running games without putting too much pressure on autonomy. Regardless, using graphics with low settings (1080p At 60 Hz).
