Vivo X Fold+: Everything That We Know About the Foldable Smartphone from Vivo

The Vivo company unveiled the Vivo X Fold, its first smartphone with a flexible screen, in April of last year for the Chinese market. Vivo joins other manufacturers in responding to Samsung’s attack on the market for foldable smartphones.

Since Samsung was the only company selling folding smartphones, various companies are now vying for market share and present their ideas. Although the Vivo X Fold has not been sold outside of China, the company is highly close to releasing a new version called the Vivo X Fold+.

Vivo has not yet made any announcements regarding its plans. Still, several images released by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), which is in charge of approving the products sold by manufacturers, allow us to see this brand-new device in greater detail before what appears to be a very imminent presentation.

As a result, the Vivo X Fold Plus will have a front-facing 6.53-inch display and an 8.03-inch screen when fully opened. Furthermore, both panels will be AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU will be included in place of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In addition, the charging has been improved, now using a maximum power of 80 W as opposed to 66 W on the Vivo X Fold. However, the battery should continue to have a 4,600 mAh capacity in the meantime.
