Apple’s iOS 16 Gets an Update for Unstable iPhone 14 Pro Camera

The release of Apple’s latest iPhone 14 into the market earlier this month caused a frenzy due to its additional unique features. The new phone however displayed some glitches, especially in the camera system which could not synchronize efficiently with several third-party Apps. Apple has stepped in with a new update to the iOS which fixes the raised issues.

The Mobile guru released the latest version iOS 16.0.2 which has been made available. The latest update iOS 16.0.2 will amend the compatibility issues of the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera system in regards to its workability with third-party apps that require access to the camera such as Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.

Consumers realized that whenever they needed to use the back camera from third-party apps, it would display signs of blurred vision accompanied by rattling noises. Apple addressed the issue and said; “…camera may vibrate and cause blurry photos when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.” The company however didn’t go into details regarding the source of the glitch.

Some of the companies contacted gave feedback on their strategies to resolve the occurring issue. Snapchat replied and said;

“We’re working directly with Apple to address reports from our community that the Snapchat Camera shakes for some with iPhone 14 software,” Apple’s spokesperson told a media outlet that they have their hands on the matter and will give a statement on the progress. “We’re aware of the issue and a fix will be released next week,”.

Several users have shared their experiences in videos on social platforms showing the glitch brought about when using other apps, including the noise produced after.

The iOS 16.0.2 will also mend the constant pop up of permission prompts when a user needs to copy and paste text between apps. The senior manager of the Tech icon Ron Huang previously reiterated that it was “absolutely not expected behavior” and added that the company was working on it.
