vivo X Fold+ folding smartphone: Final initial steps on the folding market in life

Vivo formally unveiled its first folding smartphone in April of last year. The Chinese company, which had first struggled to develop a name for its new product, eventually settled on the moniker used by its Korean rival’s folding phones.

As its name suggests, the X Fold resulted from Vivo’s sincere intention to treat the market for foldable smartphones seriously. A few days ago, the new folding smartphone was prematurely presented in photos, allowing for a complete.

A direct descendant of the X Fold, this new model aims to provide hardware updates worthy of the moniker. First, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will replace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the X Fold+. The new chipset will provide a 10% improvement in performance while using 30% less energy.

The battery should see a substantial increase in autonomy, particularly considering that the smartphone’s capacity has increased to 4,730 mAh.The smartphone will also support rapid wireless charging at 50 W if it has an 80 W cable charger.

It will also use OLED technology, an 8-inch foldable display constructed of very thin glass, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz that can decrease to 1 Hz. Additionally, the displays will each use ultrasonic fingerprint scanners for the first time on a folding smartphone.
