In A New Agreement With Coinbase, Google Cloud Will Begin Accepting Cryptocurrency Payments

Now, customers of Google Cloud can utilize cryptocurrency to pay for their services.

Following a collaboration between Google and Coinbase, a small number of users can now make purchases using Bitcoin, Ether, and Dogecoin.

For the purpose of developing cutting-edge exchange and data services, Coinbase will choose Google Cloud as a strategic cloud provider. By utilizing Google’s high-end fibre-optic network, Coinbase will expand the worldwide reach of its cryptocurrency services while processing blockchain data at scale using the robust computing platform of Google Cloud.

To offer Coinbase customers machine learning-driven crypto insights, Coinbase will also construct its global data platform on Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure and use its industry-leading data and analytics capabilities.

The two partners claim that by working together strategically, they can better serve the Web3 ecosystem’s expanding developer community. Web3 developers will also have access to Google’s BigQuery crypto public datasets through this cooperation, which will be powered by Coinbase Cloud Nodes and span the most popular blockchains.

The integration will let developers operate Web3-based services rapidly and reliably without the need for costly and complicated infrastructure.
