EazyPay, MFS Africa partner to enable last-mile connectivity for remittances Across Africa

EazyPay, an award-winning intra-African cross-border remittances and digital wallet company, has partnered with MFS Africa, the  digital payments gateway, to enhance last-mile connectivity for remittances and collections to and from mobile money wallets and bank accounts in Africa.

According to Okoudjou partnering with EazyPay, which is known for providing digital wallets for inward and outward remittance to MSMEs, SMEs, and individuals across continents, was a perfect fit. He added that  the partnership will further enable the interoperability MFS Africa aims to achieve through acquisitions and partnerships.

EazyPay has a presence in 14 African countries and a global user base of over 300 000, including Africans in the diaspora and local expats who use EziPay’s digital wallets for inward and outward remittances. The organisation’s global wallet Mauritius offering is currently live with over 90+ countries payout corridors.

Amit Gaur, co-founder and chief executive at EazyPay, said that the partnership with MFS Africa would enable cross-continent remittances to Africa from Asia, Europe, the UK, and the USA for remittances for goods, services, school fees, medical transfers, business transfers, family maintenance allowances, and P2P transfers.

MFS Africa’s full-service digital payments network connects over 400 million mobile money wallets, over 200 million bank accounts, and over 120 000 agents in Nigeria, enabling more possibilities, more connections, and more interoperability for individuals and businesses alike.

EazyPay’s latest offering is a USD Global Wallet platform that enables essential financial services via an app or web access for users. The digital payment services platform works with users’ preferred Mobile Money Wallet, Bank Account, and Visa/Master Card to offer a simple, fast, secure, and reliable payment experience. EziPay’s USD Global wallet enables inward and outward remittances with payouts in more than 90 countries.

MFS Africa believes that making a payment should be as easy as making a phone call.
