Morocco-based EdTech startup KOOLSKOOLS has secured a $960,000 (MAD10 million) investment from Azur Innovation Fund. The Fund is a public-private seed fund that aims to provide equity and quasi-equity financing to innovative startups in Morocco.

Founded in 2020 by Mariam Zrii and Nouredine Amrani, KOOLSKOOLS is a collaborative educational that responds to pedagogical problems with the digitisation of various processes. The edtech uses technology to digitise the process of teaching in the theory and practice of learning. KoolSkools has created a platform that offers a range of services and tools for schools. The edtech also has the ambition to democratize access to quality educational content and close monitoring of a larger number of students, regardless of their social level. KoolSkools believes that education should be available to all regardless of their social status or level.

This fundraise will allow KOOLSKOOLS to consolidate its presence on a national scale and to start its international expansion by acquiring human, technical and marketing resources.
