AfriLabs’ Annual Gathering 2024 set to hold on the 6th – 8th of November at Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 (CTICC 2) with a mission to bring together African innovators, policy makers, investors, startups and thought leaders from across the world.
The Annual Gathering 2024 will feature a stellar lineup of attendees, including sitting and former heads of states & ministers, pan-African government officials, and representatives from pan-African bodies. Among the attendees are CEOs, start-up innovators, and captains of innovation and a community of investors with a combined portfolio of over $300 million will be on the lookout for opportunities, making this a prime networking hub for those at the forefront of Africa’s innovation landscape.

The Annual Gathering 2024 will showcase seven thematic tracks, each dedicated to addressing key areas critical to Africa’s growth:
- Makerspaces Track: Exploring innovations in hands-on, community-drivencreation spaces, enabling African entrepreneurs to prototype, produce, and scale tech and design solutions.
- Green and Blue Economy Track: Addressing sustainable and inclusive growthwithin Africa’s terrestrial and marine ecosystems, with discussions on sustainable practices, circular economies, and innovative ecological solutions.
- Gender and Inclusion Track: Promoting gender equity and inclusive policies,this track will spotlight the contributions of women and underrepresented groups, fostering a diverse and resilient innovation ecosystem.
- Investment Track: Bringing together investors and startups, this track aims tounlock capital fows into Africa’s tech space, with insights into best practices for funding innovation and fostering investor confdence.
- Hub Solutions Track: Focused on the unique challenges of innovation hubsacross Africa, this track will present solutions that enhance the capacity of hubs to serve as pillars of growth for their local ecosystems.
- Policy, Data, and AI Track: Examining the role of policy in fosteringdata-driven and AI innovations, this track will bridge discussions between policymakers, tech experts, and stakeholders on the responsible use of AI and data for sustainable development.
