Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has launched HMD Key, a £59 lightweight budget smartphone in the UK, Australia, and the New Zealand to help people upgrade to smartphones.
It packs a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 460 nits and is powered by an octa-core Unisoc 9832E chipset on its 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.
HMD Key comes in Icy Blue and Midnight Black colours with essential features, and comes at an accessible price point making it the perfect choice for anyone seeking a new smartphone. HMD Key boasts of Android™ 14 experience (Go edition) and comes with quarterly security updates for 2 years and its 4000 mAh battery goes for up to 77 hours between charges.
HMD Key has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera and has Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and a USB-C port for charging and data transfers. It has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance
The HMD Key is equipped with versatile camera modes, including Portrait, Night, Pro, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, and Panorama and comes with Virtual Memory of up to 2 GB of storage and RAM – this smart feature ensures that the device runs seamlessly, even when juggling multiple apps or tasks.
Another key area this device hasn’t cut back on is its security.
