Free classifieds platform Afrimalin has launched its mobile application on Android and iOS to fuel its ultra-fast growth to becoming the biggest classifieds platform in francophone Africa.

The launch comes days after Afrimalin recorded over 170,000 monthly users and 2.4 million page views on its website and 90,000 ads for real estate, jobs, cars, phones, computers, fashion, furniture, books, agricultural products, the firm says it has just completed a new fundraising of several hundred thousand euros from its existing shareholders. In October, Afrimalin managed a first round of 400,000 euros in October 2016, just one month after its launch.

After the raise, Afrimalin says it will launch a new version of the site integrating new services, and will open several new countries in French-speaking Africa this June. Afrimalin.com is already available in 8 countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Republic of Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal.

In March, the firm launched a digital real estate agency to allow its users to benefit from a service tailored to facilitate access to real estate.

Afrimalin is run by a team made up of talents from the African digital scene. The headquarters are located in Conakry, with country offices in Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou and Douala.
