CarZar, South Africa’s car buying service for the second-hand car market has launched a super mobile friendly experience, increased pricing accuracy and have enhanced quote and booking flow to allow customers to easily find their exact car.
The new platform also has an autoselect function, which automatically completes some of the vehicle details without the need for user interaction and has an enhanced look-and-feel for faster and easier access allowing the user to scroll and navigate the website. These enhancements are expected to help CarZar reach a wider audience – keeping their promise of offering a convenient service, as well as helping to increase their online conversion rates.
“On the new website, we introduced a way to better control and manage inspections taking place at customers locations, without the need of manual intervention,” said Helton Volasco, Chief Product Officer at CarZar.
The new platform allows users to automatically schedule their appointments on their calendars, as well as reschedule/cancel them at any given time. Volasco says that these is a non-intrusive way of providing a reminder to customers.
The new platform works simply.
Sellers simply go onto the CarZar.co.za website, and enter their cars details; after which CarZar’s unique algorithm will generate an estimate for the vehicle’s selling price instantly. If the seller is happy with the estimated value, they can book a free inspection with one of CarZar’s fully trained car inspectors – at one of CarZar’s Car Buying Centres or at their preferred location. Within 20 minutes, the inspector will make a final offer to the seller. CarZar then makes an instant payment and takes care of all the paperwork. In all, the process only takes 30 minutes.
