After launching in Ghana, Cameroon and Nigeria, where unique listings have just surpassed the 20,000 mark, car classifieds platform Carmudi has today launched in Senegal.
Since its launch in 2013, Carmudi has created a transparent portal that documents cars for sale from many car dealers across Africa. User convenience and security are paramount: professional photos, accurate listings and detailed descriptions, reports and rankings are given for every vehicle in each market. Furthermore, sellers and car dealers are able to establish a trusted online presence for themselves on the Carmudi platform through a personalised webpage.
In a statement, Julien Riou, managing director of Carmudi Senegal, commented: “We are very excited to be launching operations in Senegal today, a growing market where we hope the local people will embrace the products and services that Carmudi has to offer. Our car classifieds platform will enable users to access a functional, user friendly and content-focused online portal to help them find the perfect car. Launching in Senegal allows us to bring the best possible online customer experience to more and more users, and as we continue to grow, that goal will remain the same.”
Founded in 2013, Carmudi is now live in Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ghana, Indonesia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, United Arabic Emirates and Vietnam. The vehicle marketplace offers buyers the ideal platform to find cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles online.
