Online travel agency in Africa, Travelstart.co.ke, has listed top spots for Kenyan travellers who want to experience adrenaline rush and get the thrill that they deserve when they take vacations such as destinations where travellers can swim with sharks, jump off bridges to have picnics at beaches and other exciting activities.
According to Bryan Kariuki, Country Manager of Travelstart Kenya,“Not everyone wants to relax and read a book by the pool during their vacations, some prefer to travel to destinations that are infused with exciting and thrilling experiences and other life engaging activities to help them to face challenges later in life. That is why we are suggesting these destinations for those looking for new thrills to keep their adrenaline pumping.”
On Facebook, Travelstart.co.ke asked its 167,000 followers which destinations they thought were best for heart-thumping adventures in Kenya. The list included white water rafting in Sagana, Bungee Jumping in Sagana and Sky diving in Diani.
Most people chose water rafting and Bungee Jumping in Sagana while there were other choices such as Maasai Mara adventures and extreme safari. Kenya is home to a variety of extreme activities and that is why it is a sought after destination for those who love adventures.
The Maasai Mara is one perfect spot to try experience some adventure stunts. Most people visit this National park because it is one of the vacation destinations in the world where travellers can interact with the big five in the wild but try to avoid getting in the way of some of them.
Apart from Kenya, there are other extreme adventure destinations that give travellers adrenaline rushes. Hermanus, South Africa is an adventure paradise, where travellers can take part in extreme activities such as sinking their feet into the shimmering sand of Grotto beach or even take a dare and stand on the top of the stark cliffs that looks over the sea.
Swakopmund, Namibia is the home of adventurers looking for extreme excitement. Swakopmund lies between the Atlantic ocean and the desert, it is an oases in the desert. For travellers who are ready to take their thrill seeking to the next level, a visit to Swakopmund will give any traveller the unusual experience. The riding of sand waves under the roasting desert sun can only be experienced than imagined.
For Kenyan travellers who prefer activities that give feelings of terror, they can go bungee jumping from Macau Tower in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) or trek Machu Picchu in Peru, climb the Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) or ice dive in Baffin Island (Canada), dive with sharks in Australia or go hiking in Volcano National Park in Hawaii.
