Tigo Ghana has appointed Tara Squire as the new head of Mobile putting him responsible for both the Commercial and Mobile Financial Services (MFS) strategy and execution. This includes all products and services ranging from Voice, Data, Entertainment, Content, Solutions and Customer Value Management.
Tara previously worked with Blu Telecommunications Limited as the Chief Commercial Officer,leading the development of the brand and building the marketing and sales teams of the business. Prior to that, he worked at Vodafone Ghana as the Head of Consumer Marketing, where his portfolio included new customer acquisition, product development and value management.
Tara’s earlier career included sales and marketing roles at Unilever and British American Tobacco and then senior management positions at Standard Charted Bank & Zain (now Airtel Ghana).
