Tigo Supports Social Entreprenuers In Ghana Through Laptop Donations

‘Tech needs Girls’, IT4Teens and the Street Library Academy have each received 5 laptops from Tigo to enable them reach out to more children in deprived communities.
The receivers include:
The Head of Corporate Responsibility and Communications for Tigo, Gifty Bingley, said the donation is in with Tigo’s vision of creating a digital lifestyle experience for Ghanaians.
She explained digital technology not only provide learners in rural communities with access to the latest technology, but it offers social entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop solutions to improve living standards.
She added that the company is committed to supporting initiatives that will improve people’s lives especially the youth.
All three beneficiaries are also past winners of the Tigo Reach for Change Social Entrepreneurs, together they are reaching out to support children in deprived communities.
