Federal Govt-Backed YourTaxiNow wants a share of Nigeria’s taxi hailing industy

Though Nigeria’s has giants Uber, Easy Taxi, TaxiPixi and new ones such as TransKonect, Federal Government-backed Yourtaxinow.com says it still wants it’s share of Nigeria’s taxi hailing app industry. The firm has launched its site is working on apps to add to its call centre services that provides customers with fast, convenient, reliable, affordable and safe cab booking experience.

According to David Chijioke Managing Director Yourtaxinow.com, “Our customers can also rate our drivers and book preferred taxi directly. With this we are able to solve the problem of driver’s not being reliable and trust worthy.”
Yourtaxinow has been live since October 2014 and the startup says its call center and the customised live portal has been serving clients with maximum satisfaction. Recently the firm launched its drivers locator App to help users locate their drivers wherever they are.

“We are not the usual Taxi hailing app, we work with the customers from the point of booking to drop off. Helping the driver to locate the customer from pick up till drop. Customers could also rate and book there preferred driver on our live portal,” says Chijioke.

Though Chijioke knows its not gonna be easy for them in the space, they are giving it a try nevertheless.
