The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 today got an official release into the Kenyan market. The Note series marks the power-user category in the entire Samsung line up. In fact, its note taking and S PEN stylus features do not have any competitor in the whole mobile realm. This pioneering spirit of the Note line up has been extended to this 7th generation as well.

Some of the devices highlights include a 6.3 inch QHD curved AMOLED display whose brightness can go up to 1200 nits in auto mode to make sure you can read the screen even in direct sunlight. Also, the company has managed to squeeze such a huge screen real estate in a body size that is comparable to most 5.5 inch devices.  The display also supports HDR content, a feature that first emerged on the Note 7 before any other device globally.

The device comes with several “World First’s”. They include the first dual camera setup (12MP) to have optical image stabilization on both sensors. This feature has given birth to yet another World First, a camera whose photo capturing capabilities were awarded a perfect 100 by the photography gurus at DxOMark.  You can check the full list of specifications over here.

The device has already been available for pre-order in leading retailers and at Safaricom shops in Kenya. Judging from the premium specifications, you can expect the price to reflect the same, the device will be selling for KShs 105,000.
