For ugali lovers who can’t actually cook ugali to save their lives, you need to see this ugali miracle worker. This machine can actually make ugali without any mwiko, all you have to do is sit back relax and get your ugali well done. This new invention has been making rounds on social media for a while now but I happened to land on this today and was super impressed.

There are actually more than one in the market and there was this impressive one from a young man in Malawi who managed to create an ugali maker and he claims it makes the perfect one.

In Togo, a man named Logou Minsob  decided to fine tune his invention and he did a pretty good job at doing so as well. His invention can convert pre-cooked cassava into fufu/ugali in less than 10 minutes. The creators of the FouFou mix say that this innovation opens prospects for creating a new African industry. It is dedicated to the manufacture of such devices on the continent in allowing the creation of jobs for young people!

Kenyans react.

We wouldn’t be Kenyans if we didn’t react and as usual Kenyans had their own personal opinions. While some were ready to purchase this new invention as soon as possible others argued that the art of cooking ugali with a mwiko is what made it tasty.
