Samsung: Smart monitors in distinct sizes

At the end of 2020, Samsung introduced its new generation of intelligent monitors. According to the company, these were designed to meet the unique needs of today’s consumers, who now work, learn and consume entertainment at home. The Samsung Smart Monitor includes mobile and PC connectivity, remote home office and learning features, and the Smart Hub, an entertainment hub similar to Samsung’s built-in Smart TV platform. For example, through embedded Wi-Fi and partnership with Microsoft, the monitor can use Office 365 applications without a PC connection, allowing users to view, edit, and store documents in the cloud directly from the screen. Under the hood, Samsung’s Tizen system is used.

So far, the lineup of Samsung Smart Monitors has included two 32s and a 27. The Smart Monitor M7 43″ (Model: M70A) is now to be used as new flagship. Also new is the Smart Monitor M5 24″ (Model: M50A). The new Samsung Smart Monitor offers connectivity options for both PCs and smartphones. Users can quickly connect their mobile devices to Tap View, App Casting, or Apple AirPlay 2. For a desktop experience with a mobile device, users can also connect to the monitor with Samsung DeX. There is currently no information on a start in Kenya. Prices were also not disclosed. At that time, the 27 was supposed to cost 38,123.90 Kenyan Shilling. The 24 may be located below it. The 43 is, of course, more expensive at the start than the 32. However, prices are likely to settle quickly – the 32 M5 is now priced at 34,170.32 Kenyan Shilling.
