Petal Search, Huawei’s search engine, has been lauded by the company for quite some time. It was created around the year 2020, and it is updated regularly.

The tools are designed for Huawei phones running EMUI 10.1 or higher, but they will also work on other Android phones (Huawei is aiming to transition to HarmonyOS for good).

The platform’s most recent development is a partnership with e-commerce giant Jumia, which will provide customers searching for products on Petal Search with a direct link to Jumia for their buying requirements.

Petal Search has millions of users, thus Huawei is right to label this a “landmark” relationship. They will be able to directly access products from the mentioned eCommerce site as a result of this. This is also feasible for non-Huawei phone users that use Petal Search.

JumiaPay has also been added to AppGallery. The payments platform allows customers to complete basic services such as airtime purchases, pay the bill, and redeeming coupons, among other lifestyle functions.

We are pleased to partner with Huawei and provide users with access to Jumia’s unique online shopping experience for quality products at the best prices. This partnership confirms our passion and combined efforts to provide innovative shopping solutions that make life easier for consumers. Through our marketplace, consumers instantly browse over 40 million products and will enjoy fast delivery in the countries where we operate. HUAWEI AppGallery users can also have the opportunity to pay and redeem conveniently through JumiaPay – Jeremy Hodara, co-founder and co-CEO of Jumia.
