The Angaza Awards 2021 for Women in Banking are now accepting applications.

The Angaza Awards: Women to Watch in Banking and Finance program is now accepting applications for the Top 10 Women to Watch list in 2021. This year’s list will include women from a variety of industries within the financial services sector. The application deadline is October 30th, 2021.

The Angaza Awards criteria include an evaluation of the applicants’ areas of responsibility and contributions to firm performance. Scores are also given for achievement that goes beyond the institution and results in the creation of shared value in the sector or community.

Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Investment Banking, Fintech, Fund Management, Microfinance, and Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCOs) professionals are encouraged to submit applications or nominations through the Angaza Award Web page.

The following people will serve on the judging panel for the Pan-African Awards in 2021;

The 2020 Angaza Awards were held on June 8th and were sponsored by Equity Bank and Old Mutual. Keynote speakers included Dr. Nancy Onyango of the International Monetary Fund and Gail Evans, a New York Times Best-Selling Author.

Digital Banker Africa, Graça Machel Trust, Women on Boards Network, East Africa Venture Capital Association, and Kenya Bankers Association were among the other partners.
