The next smartwatch from the Korean manufacturer will be available in a luxury model with high-end materials.
Although the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has only been on the market for a few months, the company is already planning a follow-up with a new line of linked watches. Until now, little information about the next Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 has emerged, save that it could track body temperature.
Therefore, this version would benefit from a titanium body, a material that has previously been seen on other linked watches, such as the Apple Watch Series 7 Edition. In the meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro’s screen should be protected by a sapphire crystal slab. This material should provide far greater shock and scratch resistance, allowing the smartwatch to last longer.
If this information is correct, it is nearly certain that the Samsung Galaxy Watch Pro 5 will be beyond reach for most people. To refresh your memory, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 in titanium was released in 2020 for € 649, over € 300 more than the standard aluminum version.
