The M2s are now the next generation of Macs Processors. The Performance of M1s was well accepted, and it is no surprise that Apple has yet launched its new chips two years after they announced the switch of the Mac to its chips.

The M2s is the company’s second generation of Mac processors, promising improved performance without sacrificing battery life in new laptops like the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. The M2 chip’s CPU cores are 18% quicker than the M1 chip’s, according to Apple.

They also have four high-performance cores and four additional spare cores devoted to easy tasks, this new generation replaces the M1 and other SoCs from Apple. The new MacBook Air is 40 percent quicker for Final Cut Pro video editing thanks to increased graphics cores to a maximum of ten from eight in the M1 and a 35 percent increase in GPU performance.

The M2 CPU also has much more memory than the M1, which may exceed 24 GB instead of the M1’s 16 GB. The bandwidth of this RAM incorporated directly into the SoC is 100GB/s, which is 50% more than the M1. The M2 will initially be accessible on the new Macbook Air and Macbook Pro, but it is expected to interface with other Apple devices like the iPad and Mac Mini.
