Tesla Workers Who Lost Their Jobs Earlier This Month Discuss It On LinkedIn

Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently disclosed that 10% of the company’s workforce would be laid off due to his worries about the state of the national economy.

Employees from several departments and divisions were let go by the electric car manufacturer. Some of these former Tesla workers used LinkedIn to discuss their employment experiences while looking for new positions. Dani Benjamin was one among the 10 per cent of Tesla employees who were asked to leave. Benjamin led the general assembly of Tesla’s first customer cars produced at Giga Texas.

“It was an extremely rewarding experience to build a strong assembly team while accelerating and improving the production process. Another highlight during my time with Tesla was to help execute and witness Cyber Rodeo- the grand opening of Giga Texas and a milestone in the history of Tesla,” he said.

The Tesla Energy Training group included Andrea Armagost. She oversaw a group of animators, learning technologists, and video producers. She asked people to contact her if they were aware of any openings for team leaders of digital learning initiatives.

She posted:

“If you know of any open roles leading a digital learning team, please reach out,”

Additionally employed at the Giga Texas facility was Lynsey Miller, who claimed to have gained more knowledge than she could have ever dreamed.

“A little over a year and a half ago, I was offered an opportunity with Tesla. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I’d work in the tech, automotive, or sustainability industry. In a year and a half, I learned more than I ever could’ve imagined, met so many amazing people, and had an opportunity to contribute to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy,” Miller said.

The first country manager for the corporation in South East Asia was Christopher Bousigues. Earlier last month, he was asked to leave. “When something like this occurs, you may be unsure of the right course of action to take or even whether to remain silent about it. In the end, I am not created that way. I don’t compromise on transparency or honesty, thus I believed it was appropriate to inform my network with this information.
