No OnePlus 11 Pro Model to Be Released In 2023

OnePlus has recently released its new high-end smartphone, the OnePlus 11, but there will not be a Pro version of the device released this year. This information was confirmed by the president of OnePlus China, Li Jie, in response to a user on Weibo who asked about a potential Pro model.

The lack of a Pro version may not come as a surprise, as the OnePlus 11 already has many features that one would expect from a Pro model. It boasts the latest processor on the market, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 2K QHD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a triple camera setup with a telephoto lens, a 5000 mAh battery with ultra-fast 100 W charging, and more. It is unclear what a Pro version could offer to improve upon these already impressive specifications.

In September 2022, a leak suggested that a OnePlus 11 Pro was in the works, but the rumored specifications ended up being those of the standard OnePlus 11. It is possible that the company decided that the regular model was sufficient on its own and therefore did not see the need to release a Pro version.
