WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has introduced a new labeling feature designed to help users better organize their chats and messages.
With labels, users can create different categories or tags to group related conversations, making it easier to find and manage their communications
To create a new label, users can simply tap on “Chats” > “Labels” > “Add” and enter a desired name. Once created, labels can be applied to individual messages or entire chats by tapping and holding the specific content and selecting the appropriate label.
A particularly useful aspect of the labeling feature is its integration with marketing messages. Businesses can now send promotions, reminders, and other announcements to all customers within a specific label at once, streamlining their marketing efforts.
To access labeled content, users can tap on “Chats” > “Labels” and select a specific label. Additionally, tapping on a customer’s profile photo or group icon from the Chats screen will display all associated labels.
Labels can be easily managed by tapping on “Chats” > “Labels” and selecting the desired label. Users can edit label names, change colors, or delete labels as needed. Furthermore, creating new broadcasts to customers within a specific label is now possible by tapping on the label and selecting “Message customers.”
Broadcast messages created using labels cannot be sent to groups. They are only intended for individual customers.
The new labeling feature in WhatsApp is a valuable addition for users looking to improve their messaging organization and efficiency. By categorizing chats and messages, users can more easily find and manage their communications, especially for businesses that rely on WhatsApp for marketing and customer interactions.
