Kenyan fintech Pesapal has partnered with business transformation firm Drift Consult to expand adoption of RACK, a platform integrating payments, inventory management and point-of-sale systems for retail and hospitality businesses.
Under the partnership, Drift Consult will lead business advisory and implementation, while Pesapal provides the technology and payment infrastructure.
RACK enables retailers to monitor inventory across multiple outlets and consolidate payments from mobile money networks and international card providers. Restaurants and cafés can use the platform to manage orders and payments.
“Businesses today need more than an isolated payment solution; they require technology that provides holistic visibility across their entire operations to drive smarter decision-making,” said Agosta Liko, founder of Pesapal.
Ferdinand Eloto, co-founder of Drift Consult, said RACK would help businesses replace fragmented processes with integrated tools for monitoring performance and improving efficiency.
The partnership expands Pesapal’s offering beyond payment processing by combining transactions with software for managing merchant operations, as fintech companies increasingly seek to provide businesses with integrated digital services.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership, rollout timeline or target number of merchants.
