There is no doubt that cyber crime has being on the increase in the country in particular and the West African sub region in general, however the most prevalent have being the “Yahoo Yahoo” syndrome, perpetrated through various phishing and spearphishing scams. Several businesses have become victims to these scams and the need to know how these attacks are conducted, with a view to knowing how to avert such attacks, is the more reason why the NaijaSecCon17 is a must attend.
Businesses have continued to receive attacks in the form of ransomwares and the likes. Ransomwares are malicious programs created to carry out sophisticated attacks against businesses. Crippling of businesses is the mainstay of these malwares and the need to be on the defensive is very paramount.
Practical sessions on how these attacks are carried out shall be revealed during the presentations, which shall be brought live to you by experts in the field.
