Google is reportedly formulating Gmail and YouTube versions made specifically for children below the age of 13.

The firm’s executives are sensitive to the fact that most parents are cautious about allowing their children access YouTube due to fears that they will be faced with expletive-laden comments or X-rated pop videos.

According to a report given by the Wall Street Journal, a new child-friendly version would possibly have a Google dashboard to provide parents larger control over what their young ones are doing online.

Google however declined to comment on the claims.

“Google has nothing to comment on this issue because it is founded in just speculation and rumor,” said Google representative.
