Tigo Ghana unveils new unified short code for products and services

tigo-1.jpgPre-paid and post-paid subscribers on Tigo Ghana can now access the all products through a unified short code, 555 as the company has unveiled the installation of a world-class IVR (Interactive Voice Response).

The code will make it easier for customers reduce the inconvenienceof customers memorizing different short codes for the various services and products not to mention enhanced customer experience.

Customers can either call 555 and follow the voice prompt or dial *555# and follow the instructions on their mobile screen and they will be guided to the various products and services including data and voice bundles, Tigo cash and the Call centre.

Speaking on the new innovation, the Chief Executive Officer of Tigo Ghana, Roshi Motman, said “The challenge in the past has been for customers to remember the various short codes for different products and services. In enhancing customer and user experience, it is essential that we look at simplicity and convenience and through this unified short code, customers will have access to a one-stop-shop for our range of products and services”.

Customers can listen to the voice prompt in English, Twi or Ga.
