Microsoft introduces Nokia X2 to Nokia X family in Nigeria

Microsoft Devices Group has released the Nokia X2, a new and affordable device that has supported and strengthened the Nokia X family.

According to Microsoft, the smartphone is currently available for purchase in Nigeria and boasts of more popular Microsoft services, smoother and easier user experience as well as upgraded specifications.

Deborah Shepard, the head of marketing at Nokia West and Central Africa stated: “The Nokia X2 is built to help millions of people affordably connect to the mobile Internet and cloud services.”

Shepard further added that the Nokia X2 possesses enhanced features, which include a 5MP rear-facing, a larger 4.3″ ClearBlack display, autofocus camera with flash and a front-facing VGA camera that allows users to take photos even when the phone screen is locked. The smartphone also benefits from a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 200 processor, which has a 1GB of RAM and dual core 1.2Ghz CPU that makes switching between favorite apps more mobile.

Nokia X2 also has Microsoft services such as Skype, Outlook.com and up to 15GB of free OneDrive cloud storage. With Opera for Android as its default browser, users can save data while browsing on their mobile phones thanks to the Opera Turbo compression service inserted within the Opera browser.

The Nokia X2 is available in glossy orange, green and black colors and is currently accessible in all mobile retail outlets across Nigeria.
