Microsoft to Supply Devices & Cloud Technology Real Madrid

SatelliteMicrosoft and Real Madrid C.F. have signed a deal that will make the tech firm the club’s exclusive devices and technology supplier in a move expected to digitally transform the club with high-end cloud-based digital services and devices such as PCs, tablets, smartphones and wearables.

Microsoft will also streamline the club’s online experience to reach its local and global supporters and digitally transform the sports industry.

In a video message streamed live online,  Satya Nadella Microsoft CEO said; “We are delighted to offer these tools to millions of Real Madrid fans worldwide and help make their passion for football much more exciting.”

Real Madrid and Microsoft will build a digital platform that will help the clubs fans follow their team and share their passion for the club, access experiences, content and exclusive digital services, either at the stadium, at home or in any other location and as well interact with players and the club, making it even more personal, direct and exciting.

Microsoft will also supply Surface Pro 3 to players and coaches as key work tools among others.

Real Madrid and Microsoft are embarking on a full digital revolution of the club for a personalized experience for its supporters.
