Suba App Named Official Photo Sharing App for Global Entrepreneurship Week

subappEvents-based mobile app that allows everyone at fun social gatherings to see and share photos together in one central photo stream Suba, has been named the official photo sharing app for Global Entrepreneurship Week – Ghana.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is taking place between 17 -23 November, 2014 in over 150 countries and is largest global event celebrating innovators and job creators. In the same mood, Suba app willjoin the hundreds of entreprenuers who will gather in Ghana and share photos of the events with others freely.

In a statement, Stephen Gyasi-Kwaw of Youth Enhancement International, the official host organization that has been running GEW Ghana since its creation in 2008 said,”I am delighted that the founders of Suba and many other entrepreneurs and thought leaders in Ghana have joined efforts to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week to amplify the call to make Ghana a leading entrepreneurial nation in Africa.”

Highlights for Global Entrepreneurship Week – Ghana include Entrepreneurs Go to Schools Day, Women in Business Breakfast, Angel Investment Dialogue, and StartupWeekend Accra 2014. “We are excited to utilize Suba to re-live the experiences of entrepreneurs, developers, designers, and startup enthusiasts who come to together to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups at StartUp Weekend Accra and throughout Global Entrepreneurship Week,” says co-founder of StartUp Weekend Accra, Eric Hackman who is also the co-founder & Product Development Lead at Suba.

“In addition to our mission of being globally synonymous with photo sharing and event experiences, we aim to inspire other entrepreneurs especially in the technology field to build software that can compete on the global market,” says Nelson Klutse, Suba’s CEO who mentors young people at organizations including STEMBees and Africa Business Network Smartup Festival.  Nelson is a featured entrepreneur in the Global Entrepreneurship Week – Ghana promotional campaign sponsored by the US Embassy – Ghana.
