Angola’s Unitel has partnered with Wikimedia Foundation to launch, ‘Wikipedia Zero’. This will give free unlimited access to Wikipedia through mobile devices both 2G and 3G, to all Unitel’s customers.
The move is part of the Wikimedia Foundation’s mission to provide access to knowledge and information to empower people around the world with free knowledge.
Under the new collaboration, all Unitel customers who wish to access Wikipedia via mobile phone may do so, without being charged for the data.
