Guineas’ state-owned Societe des Telecoms de Guinee (Sotelgui) will resume operations in February, well this is according to the country’s telecoms minister.

He said that the telco compay will relaunch with 4G services added to its portfolio.

As previously reported by TeleGeography CommsUpdate, the telecom minster said in August the telco would be up and running soon with the first calls to be made over the network by the end of that month.
Prior to that, the official had promised last January the telco would be back on its feet before the end of 2014.
