The ANDELAAndela Fellowship for developers is on; presenting a 4-year, paid opportunity to master the craft of professional software development while working remotely for leading technology companies around the globe.

Based on the quantity and quality of applications, successful applicants may be invited to participate in a free, two-week-long Boot Camp led by senior developers hailing from some of the world’s top engineering schools. It’s one of the most rigorous training experiences in the world and you’ll learn fundamentals of programming.

“I’ve been in school for 24 years,” says Solo, an Andela Fellow in Nigeria, “…but this was the most valuable two weeks of my life!”

“At Andela, we believe that while the digital revolution may have begun in Silicon Valley, its future will be written by people like you in Lagos, Nairobi, Joburg, Accra and across Africa. We are building a movement of world-class remote software developers that will transform the technology landscape across the continent and around the world,” read part of the  invitation.

Here’s how it works. Apply below by the deadline of May 5th, 2015. Attend our free Boot Camp. And earn the chance to become an Andela Fellow. If you’re accepted, you’ll join the ranks of some of the top developers in Africa. Instead of charging tuition, we’ll pay you to learn. Once you’re done with basic training, usually after four months, we’ll place you as a remote member of a technology team around the world. You’ll get to apply your knowledge to real work, while Andela provides ongoing professional development and coaching, helping you build a foundation for long-term success.
