Dr. Gilbert Saggia leaves Oracle to join SAP

  Dr. Gilbert Saggia, the Country Managing Director for tech giant Oracle has left to join SAP.

It is yet to be established the role Saggia will take up at SAP.

Dr. Saggia joined Oracle on February 2013 where he was tasked with being responsible for the office and operations as well as supporting all business and functional objectives within the country.

Saggia is a Multi-disciplined and widely read ICT guru with fifteen years in the industry where he dealt with technical and sale leadership.

Prior to taking up his position at Oracle, Saggia was

the Regional Manager for Cisco Systems responsible for the East African operation since 2007. Prior to Cisco, Gilbert held various regional management positions at Siemens.

Dr. Saggia holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi, a Masters MBA Certification from Tulane University USA, and other strategic leadership and business qualifications. He is a member of various regional and international ICT forums, and writes in regional periodicals and books particularly around “ICT in Healthcare”. He recently was listed in the top 40 under 40 Men in Kenya
