Founded by Andreas Lehner and Sam Manaberi, Trine is closing the gap between private capital in developed countries and solar partners in emerging markets by offering an alternative finance solution to off-grid solar projects through a novel crowdfunding model. They bring solar energy to the 1.2 billion people in need of access to electricity and make it easy for people to make a social and environmental impact while also earning a return on investment.

The project will then get installed, their local solar partner will install and manage the solar installation on the ground.
